With the New Family Assistant Service, Five Venetian Municipalities Improve the Quality of Life for the Elderly
This project is part of the initiatives for the “Promotion and Enhancement of Active Aging” (DGR 1391/2021), funded by the Veneto Region and promoted by the municipalities of Piazzola sul Brenta, Campo San Martino, Vo’, Rovolon, and Morgano.
How it works
To access the service, simply register on the WelfareX portal, select a Family Assistant by specifying the day, time, and municipality, and complete the booking by paying online via credit or debit card, PayPal, or Stripe.
Employment Management
Cooperjob handles the regulation of employment relationships with families in accordance with the National Domestic Workers Contract. We also manage the assistant’s periodic payment, payroll issuance, and the payment of required social security contributions.
Who are the Family Assistants?
The service provides 38 qualified professionals trained to assist the elderly, thanks to a specialized course led by educators from Jonathan Cooperativa Sociale and a trained nurse. The course covered topics such as first aid, hygiene regulations, nutrition, and building positive relationships with both the elderly and their families.
Family Assistants are available for a range of tasks, including:

✔ Household chores
✔ Personal hygiene and meal preparation
✔ Accompanying clients to medical appointments or grocery shopping
✔ Small gardening tasks
